About ArCADiasoft company

ArCADiasoft Chudzik sp. j. is a Polish company operating on building engineering software market from 1997. Company founder is Jarosław Chudzik, graduate of Building Engineering and Architecture Faculty of Polytechnic of Łódź, who just after finishing studies went to Germany and started traineeship in Institut für Baumechanik und Numerische Mechanik (Universität Hannover). Tempted by an offer of „mb programme” company searching for building engineer with knowledge of computer programming languages, he started to work in software development department. After 10 years he returned to Poland to found a company which during next years became leading company in IT field for building engineering.

ArCADiasoft company has today in its offer more than 60 author, specialistic engineering programs, supporting design in building engineering field. Team of more than 50 computer scientists and building engineers still develops rich software offer, among others such applications as: Constructor (27 calculation modules + 6 graphical modules) serving for static calculations and dimensioning, 3D FRAME for calculation of bar constructions, ArCADia-TERMO PRO for calculations of characteristic certificate and power audit. The last one, honoured with numerous prizes, in short time became number 1 in Poland among available on market similar programs.

Fundamental position in company offer constitutes object-oriented system ArCADia, which is a tool for complex calculation-graphical support of building engineering design process, communication between fields, including collisions detection.

Modular structure of the system allows also for treating ArCADia as a set of independent calculation-graphical programs intended for building industry fields (architecture, engineering and installations). Heart of the whole system is START module, allowing for building body design and object-oriented viewing of any field design made in ArCADia system. START module contains own intuitive graphical editor (GRAF) or alternatively allows for installation of ArCADia system as an overlay on such programs as AutoCAD or ArCADia-INTELLICAD. Possession of ArCADia-START module is a necessary condition for functioning of field modules. Of course, for field designs it is necessary to previously make an architectural design. This possibility is ensured by ArCADia-START module in connection with ArCADia-ARCHITEKTURA module or data import through IFC interface from such programs as ArchiCAD, Allplan or Revit.
